We were dismayed to hear a gunshot from the hunting camp next door! Thankfully, he missed; he may not have even been seriously trying to shoot one. The children are well aware of what hunting is all about, but to admire these beauties and their song and then witness one of them shot down may have been traumatic...We are blessed with another beautiful early fall day.
