We are a growing Catholic family living in the woods of the western Upper Peninsula of Michigan (UP for short). We moved here from Alabama on the feast of St. Anthony in 2006, and bought our property in October of the same year. We have been blessed with seven children (so far!), six on earth and one in heaven. We originally called our place "St. Anthony's Acres" in honor of our heavenly helper. We have since renamed our homestead "Hope's Farm" in memory and thanksgiving for our little daughter who is our very precious patron saint. I pray that God will bless all who visit us here!

Sounds like you're suffering the winter blues. Cheer up, there's only 2 1/2 more months till spring!

Ummm... Bill, you're kidding, right?? ;-)
I hear ya. It was a balmy 20 degrees here today. Much warmer than last week when it was negative 22! Hope it continues to warm up for you too.
