- I am a 36-year-old wife, mother, and runner. My husband and I met in high school; married July 15, 1995 (17 years and counting!). We have been blessed with seven children, two angels in heaven, and a baby due June 2013. I started running in March of 2011, when my seventh child was 8 months old. We are a homeschooling family living in the middle of nowhere in Upper Michigan. My other interests are reading, writing, homemaking, and all things related to fitness and natural health.

MERRY CHRISTMAS everybody, We missed you yesterday at your great-grandma's. Everyone was there, except you and Philip. Not counting the babies and 4 kids, there was about 35. Shannon's in-laws were even there. Hardly a place to set down as the gifts under the tree stretched to the middle of the room. The dinner was great and tasteful. Later, grandpa Billy, & grandma Teresa, Steven, Larry, Pat, Mike and Brandon,cut fallen tree limbs till dark. Grandpa Billy got the OWL. It was a wonderful day, but a little chilly and windy. I bet you seen that kind of weather. Had a great time. Love you and miss all of you. God bless all of you.
