- I am a 36-year-old wife, mother, and runner. My husband and I met in high school; married July 15, 1995 (17 years and counting!). We have been blessed with seven children, two angels in heaven, and a baby due June 2013. I started running in March of 2011, when my seventh child was 8 months old. We are a homeschooling family living in the middle of nowhere in Upper Michigan. My other interests are reading, writing, homemaking, and all things related to fitness and natural health.

Loved seeing your blog--we too are a large family though I don't know if I'm organized enough to live off the land--it takes a lot of effort for me to just live off the fat of the grocery store!! Blessings!
